NCTA Donor ProgramThe National College Testing Association (NCTA) is a non-profit organization of testing professionals working in post-secondary institutions, in companies with test-related products and services, and in other professional venues. NCTA is dedicated to the promotion of professionalism and quality in the administration of testing services and programs, including issues relating to test administration, test accessibility, test development, test scoring, and assessment. NCTA achieves its mission through the financial support of our members in the form of membership dues. The organization in turn, offers opportunities for professional development, the development of resources for NCTA members, and research pertinent to the field of testing through funds awarded to NCTA members through the Annual Grants Program. Other opportunities funded by membership dues include the Duane Goupell Travel Scholarship and NCTA partnerships and participation with corporate and professional organizations of the testing industry, focusing on test security and testing research. NCTA Donor Program
Harnessing the power of organizational fundraising involves strategic, multi-faceted approaches to maximize impact. This includes engaging all stakeholders, building a strong fundraising culture, and leveraging technology and innovative strategies. It also focuses on fostering long-term donor relationships and utilizing testimonies to connect with potential supporters. DonorsDonations to NCTA in support of the organization or other NCTA programs or initiatives are open to our institutions and corporate members, vendors and anyone with a vested interest in testing and NCTA. DonationsContribution to the NCTA Donor Program can provide direct financial support to NCTA, to the Duane Goupell Travel Scholarship Fund, or the Annual Grants Program. Gifts earmarked for the travel scholarship fund will provide financial assistance for conference presenters to help alleviate financial hardship in conjunction with their attendance to NCTA’S annual conference. Those earmarked for the Annual Grants Program will have a resounding impact for professional development and the growth of new and experienced testing professionals, who can go on to engage in research related to testing, and the development of future members in the field of testing, assessments, and test administration. Annual Grants Program AwardsThe Annual Grants Program awarded grants totaling over $22,000, to 14 institutions or members in support of projects, professional development events, and testing staff training including the following.
Sustaining a strong fundraising initiative is paramount to continue to offer NCTA members opportunities to engage in professional development and research projects that elevate and add to the testing industry. |
