ID Research Project (Tuesday)
Time TBD

Jarret Dyer (College of DuPage) and Sally Carter (Southeast Missouri State University) invite you to participate in their research project “Detection of Fraudulent Identifications in Live Proctoring vs. Remote Proctoring Situations.” The research’s goal is to determine if live proctors and remote proctors are able to determine fraudulent ID’s at the same rate. Participation is anonymous and no individual answers will be shared. A completed informed consent will be required for each participant. Participation will help inform the testing industry of best practices in the post-pandemic world of testing.

First, participants will answer a few questions on the training they have received on detecting fake ID’s. Then, participants will view a set of ID’s and indicate whether they believe the ID is valid or fraudulent (fake). It is estimated that it will take each participant approximately 30 minutes to complete the activity. There is no scheduled start or stop time for individual participation. Please come to the event as your conference schedule allows. Rooms and times will be posted closer to the date.

PI Lab (Tuesday)
Time TBD

Visit the Proctor Investigation (PI) Lab to find out about NCTA’s latest projects, initiatives, and possibilities. There is no scheduled start or stop time for individual participation. Please come to the event as your conference schedule allows. Rooms and times will be posted closer to the date.
