Posted 04/19/2018 San Diego State University Achieves Test Center CertificationCongratulations to San Diego State University for achieving Test Center Certification from the National College Testing Association. Test Center Certification indicates that a test center operates under the highest accepted standards and procedures for all types of testing. San Diego State University is a public research university that was founded in 1897 as San Diego Normal School. SDSU has an enrollment of over 34,000 students and has an alumni base of over 280,000. After some name changes the school became San Diego State University in 1974. The university awards 190 bachelor's degrees, 91 masters degrees, and 25 doctoral degrees. President John F. Kennedy gave the graduation commencement address at SDSU on June 6, 1963.
