2020 Conference Call for Proposals

The 2020 Call for Proposals has now closed.

Presenting at the NCTA Annual Conference provides an opportunity to build your professional network and experience lifelong learning. Presenting a content-rich session individually or as part of a team is a wonderful way to share knowledge, ideas, and experiences. The conference program will showcase best practices, lessons learned, and solutions to testing-related issues within various program tracks.

Program Tracks:

  • Tests (presentations about specific tests)
  • Personnel
  • Test Center Management
  • NCTA
  • Security
  • Accessibility
  • Psychometrics and Data/Data Analysis

To ensure full consideration, program proposals must be submitted on or before February 28, 2020.  Proposals submitted after this deadline will continue to be considered but will not be accepted onto the program except to fill vacant spots.  Proposals may not be submitted after 5:00 pm on March 30 April 6, 2020, Eastern Time.

You will receive an email acknowledging receipt of your proposal. Prospective presenters will be given notification of the status of the proposal by end of March. early April. Similar topics or proposals may be combined on panels, if appropriate.  Final notification will be sent April 10, 2020.

Proposal Submission At-a-Glance:

  • February 28:  Final day to submit a proposal for full consideration (5:00 pm Eastern Time)
  • March 20:  Notification of next steps.
  • April 6 March 30: Final day to submit proposals to fill extra slots (5:00 pm Eastern Time) and final day to be considered for travel scholarship
  • April 10: Final notification.
