Scholarship Information

In applying for this award, you agree to present at the annual conference. Your presentation may be considered for as an NCTA webinar following the conference.

The scholarship is a maximum reimbursement of $1500, post-conference, and is not intended to cover the full cost of attendance. The scholarship is available to offset attendance costs, for those for whom financial limitations would create hardship in attending and presenting at the conference. Reimbursement of expenses can be requested for the following:  conference registration, up to 4 nights lodging at the conference hotel at NCTA discount rate, and transportation costs to and from the conference (airfare, parking, mileage at standard IRS rate, shuttle/cab, and/or luggage fees). No other expenses will be considered for reimbursement.

Please note the following guidelines before applying for consideration:

  • The scholarship cannot be transferred to another individual if the recipient no longer requires it (for example, no longer able to attend the conference).
  • Members are only eligible to receive the scholarship once.
  • Scholarships are not guaranteed to be awarded every year.
  • The scholarship is reimbursement only – recipients must register for the conference and cover all hotel and travel expenses out-of-pocket. A reimbursement form will be provided to submit with all receipts and map of reported mileage. Expenses cannot be reimbursed without documentation.
  • Reimbursement is contingent on attending and presenting at the conference, and you agree to consider hosting an NCTA webinar following the conference.
  • Recipients may be announced via listserv and/or at the annual conference.
  • Any questions regarding the scholarship award should be directed to [email protected].
