Webinar Committee

Seeking 3-4 volunteers
The Webinar Committee will work to develop and implement the Professional Development Division's webinar program. This program seeks to provide high quality, topical, professional development presentations for NCTA members. The webinar committee will be responsible for the following:
- planning and scheduling webinar presentations on topics of professional interest for NCTA members
- reviewing annual conference sessions for presentations appropriate to the webinar series
- recruiting presenters and topics from the general NCTA membership
- promoting NCTA webinars to members through the NCTA listserve and outreach to State and Regional Organizations (SRO's).
- assisting presenters with preparing for their webinar presentations
- developing and administering participant feedback survey
- making outreach to corporate and professional partners to explore opportunities for collaboration on specific topics
- working with the NCTA webmaster to create on the NCTA Resources page a library of links to webinars, internal and external, that are professionally relevant to NCTA members
NCTA Standards and Guidelines Committee

Seeking 2-3 volunteers
The NCTA Standards and Guidelines Committee will work to review the current standards and guidelines and recommend modifications and changes that reflect current practices in and recommendations of the testing profession. Duties include the following:
- taking recommendations from the NCTA Board members for modifications
- soliciting recommendations from other testing professionals
- conducting a thorough review of current standards
- working to update guidelines and standards and re-evaluating current practices
- submitting these standards to the NCTA board for review by January 2014
